i have a windows 2000 professional sp 4, and i wanted to install
"terminal services" so i could access remotely but when i went to
components to add, there was no option for "terminal services" like
2000 server. is there some way around this?

No, there isn't. You have to use WinXP Professional
or a third-party product such as WinVNC.
