Remote Desktop Wallpaper Not Appearing

For some reason, I can't get the wallpaper to appear on my remote desktop
computer. Both computers are running Windows XP with the latest OS updates
including the Remote Desktop software.

On the Experience tab or the Remote Desktop connection dialog window, I have
LAN 10 mbits or higher selected. All of the check boxes are checked. I am
running on a 100 mb lan. Niether of the computers will allow me to set the
desktop wallpaper when connected via Remote Desktop.

One of the computers allows me to see the Desktop tab of the Display dialog
window when connected remotely but the Background listbox is disabled. The
other computer won't even let me see the Desktop tab.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Its possible a group policy has been enabled to disable the display of
desktop wallpaper while in a Remote Desktop session.

I checked the group policy setting and it was not set.

I then disabled the Enforce Removal of Remote Desktop Wallpaper policy
setting and the wallpaper still cannot be set.
