Remote Desktop / Terminal question

Hello, I posted this question before , honestly I am quite confused
still. I can use remote desktop to access a computer in my domain. I
can log into the computer with the admin password and I am able to see
the desktop as it was left. However as soon as I am logged into the
computer, the remote pc screen is disable and you must enter the
alt-control-delete to log back in. If someone logs into the remote
pc, I get kicked out. I have been googling, and it appears that only
one user is allowed to log into the lremote desktop at a time. if
another user logs in, then the other gets kicked off.

What I am trying to do is to be able to view the remote desktop while
a user is logged into the system. Currently I am using pc anywhere or
tightVNC to accomplish the task. I was hoping that with 2003 server
and some XP pro machines I wouldnt have to install other 3rth party
software to do the job. However, apparently remote desktop seems to
be designed NOT to allow multiple connection onthe same account while
the user is logged in the pc. Remote assistant seems to be what I
need, however remote assistant requires the remote user to alllow for
the connection to take effect. I need it so that I can log into the
system without the user being aware of the connection, or having to
wait for the user to authorize the connection.

any help in this matter is highly appreciated.

If the host machine runs under WinXP Professional then it
will support one console session only at any one time. Logging
in via Remote Desktop will suspend the current console
session; logging in locally will knock out the Remote Desktop
session.

If the host machine runs under Windows Server, with Terminal
Server running, then you can log on locally as CiD. You can then
establish a Remote Desktop session under CiD, using the /console
switch, and work in parallel with the initial local session.
