Remote Desktop disconnecting prematurely

I use Remote Desktop to access a remote server from work. Lately, the remote
desktop will freeze and disconnect after only a few minutes of inactivity. I
have talked to the helpdesk at the remote server, and they tell me it should
only disconnect after 2 hours of inactivity. No one else is experiencing
this problem in the office, so I am confident it is a problem with my
computer. What do I need to provide re: additional information to diagnose
this problem?

You might look in the event viewer for clues...

I looked at the Event Viewer and it didn't show me anything related to the
Remote Desktop. I am assuming the Applications Tab would be the right place
to be looking vs. Security or System and that the "source" would be related
to Remote Desktop if I were to see something in there...

I have already had my Desktop crap out on me this morning and no events of
any kind in the Applications tab were reported. There are some in the System
and Security tabs, but they don't match up with the time that this occurred.

Is there any way I can set up a log of events for Remote Desktop?
