Remote Desktop Connection

I cannot connect to the remote computer. I get always this message:

"This computer can't connect to remote computer. Try connection again. If
the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your
network administrator."

Well the problem cannot be neither with the remote computer nor with the
network because others from the same network can connect to it.
Please help me.

Can you ping that computer? (type "cmd" into the seach box from the windows
menu then "ping x.x.x.x" where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the remote
machine.) If that works, try ping y where y is the machine name of the
computer.
