Remote Desktop Connection problem with Windows 2000 Terminal Server

I have Windows XP Professional Edition (SP1). I can connect to
several Windows 2000 and 2003 Terminal Servers except a couple of
Servers:

1. One has Windows 2000 Terminal Server which gives me this error
message almost immediately after I tried to connect:

"The connection was ended because of network error. Please try
connecting to the remote computer again."

I can ping that Terminal Server without any problem.

If I use another computer also using Windows XP Professional Edition,
I can connect to that server without any problem.

2. On another Windows 2003 Terminal Server which requires a Netscreen
Remote Security Policy to be activated on my PC-- I can connect if I
use my work's DSL Internet connection but I couldn't connect if I use
my home's DSL Internet connection. I can ping the Server on both
connections.

Any troubleshooting suggestions will be appreciated.

I would suggest looking at the server's event
log and see if you can find anything useful.

Thanks for the suggestion. i did find the error message "Event ID:
1004, The Terminal servcer cannot issue a client license". I was
able to fix it by following the instructions in Knowledgebase Article
329888 (ie, deleting the MSLicensing registry key). That solved my
first problem.

I now have to deal with my second problem about being able to connect
to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server using my office's internet
connection but unable to connect from my home internet connection
(using the same laptop) even though i can ping the Terminal server
from there. I looked at the Event Viewer but i can't seem to find any
error message.
