Remote assistance problem via VPN

There are times when I have to connect to one of our users when I am working
from home, connected via VPN. The user sends me the request for assistance
and when i click on the attachment to connect, I am unable to connect. this
only happens when I am connected to VPN. When i am working from one of our
offices, I have no problem. Any suggestions?

Can you ping their PC while connected to their network via the VPN?

Is it possible your home network is using the same IP range as the remote
network, ie. home -> 192.168.1.X and the remote site -> 192.168.1.X versus a
different range at each location?

Its also possible you may need to modify the RCTICKET field in the
invitation file to reflect the remote IP and/or port.
