Remote Assistance Failure

Over the last few weeks, my laptop has been getting the error "Remote
Assistance failed. Please try again". This occurs regardless of which
workstation I try to remote assist into.

I've reimaged my pc, no change. I'm running XP Pro, SP2 with all the latest
updates.

I've ensured that the firewall is not running on either of the two
workstations.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue?
