Remote Access Connection Manager

Hi, I had an error 711 message and have been directed to a
site that informs me how to rectrify this, but when I try
to "start" my remote access connection manager because it
has been stopped somehow it tell me that "Access is
Denied"..

Can anyone help? Thanks..

And the fix is still to re-apply SP1.

You need to go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default.asp

I'd reccomend you grab the 'Network Installation' version, not the express
one.
It's the full thing.
You can save it on disk or CD, to use on other machines or re-apply as you
need.
At 134 MBytes, that's a big download : broadband only!
You can also pick it up from magazine cover disks, friends with b/band etc.

The express version just grabs the bits it thinks it needs for your machine.
Essentially, it's not re-useable.
