Reminder - Display issues

M

Marc De Groote

When I dismiss an alert for a calendar event which has the reminder flag set,
the reminder flag gets unset, which would in itself not be an issue. But
what happens next is that the event doesn't appear any more in the
day/week/month view, although I can see it in the list view. Can anybody
help me with this?

Thanks!

Marc

It sounds like the iphone sync problem.

What version of outlook?

Are you syncing with a device? If so, what device and how do you sync?
Was the event created on the device or in outlook?

Thanks for your assistance, Diane!

You're right, it is most probably linked with the iPhone, which I'm syncing
with my Outlook 2003 through iTunes 7.7. The events remain visible on the
iPhone but not on Outlook (although they are still there). And I see the
events that disappeared when I open my calendar in day/week/month view from
someone else's Outlook session in our corporate network running on Exchange.
And as long as the reminder flag is on, I see the events in my day/week/month
view. Once the flag is off (even without syncing the iPhone), the event
disappears.

All the events were created in Outlook.

That's the iphone sync problem. No word yet on what is causing it or when a
fix will be out (or whether it will come from MS or apple).
