Appointment reminder problem

I have an annoying problem with a single appointment in OL 2003/Win XP. It
is a friend's anniversary in March. Although I set a reminder for 2 week
ahead of the date each year so I can send a card, I am constantly reminded
of the event. For example, the reminder that popped up a few minutes ago
pointed out that it is 85 weeks overdue. That's over a year and a half! Of
course I always click to Dismiss. But it keeps coming back.

Are you syncing with a PDA or cell phone?
Did you try restarting outlook using the /cleanreminders switch?

Thanks! I sync OL with my Blackberry. Never heard of the /cleanreminders
switch. Where can I get that? Or do I have it already?

You have it already. Start>Run>outlook.exe /cleanreminders
Be sure to include the space in front of the slash.
