Reinstall of XP and IE7

I've been backing up my data files but it occurred to me that, if I ever
needed to reformat, reinstalling Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7 would be
a major pain due to the need to reinstall all of the updates. Is there any
way to create an install disk that would include all of the XP & IE7 updates
I currently have installed? I could image the disk but, if I reformat, I'd
like to do so without bringing back all the garbage.

As others have said nLite ( http://www.nliteos.com/index.html )
but also look at RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack
(http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack-sp2.html)
