I want to reinstall Internet Explorer 6.0 to solve some
instability problems. Websites are freezing up on me.
However when I click on download, I get a message stating
the following: a previous installation has pending work
requiring a reboot. You need to complete that
installation before running internet explorer setup. Setup
will now close.
I haven't a clue what the "pending work" or what
installation they are talking about. How can I bypass
this message and reinstall Internet Explorer? Do I need to
do a repair on Windows XP?
