I deleted REDBOX organiser from my computer but now at start up I get a
message that states that the registry is looking for a reference to it and I
have to click 2 dialogue boxes at boot up. Ive looked on the registry using
mmc and searched it and found a reference to it in.........my
computer/hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\search assistant\acm
ni\5603..............and in there is a file with shows up as the
following................ab001 REG_SZ redbox. I am tempted to delete this
file and see if it fixes the problem but a bit scared to do that, willi t
work ? OR should I not do it ? Some help much appreciated. THANKS ANYONE ?

Never delete an application,
you should always use the *uninstall* function.

You might be able to reinstall it...
then properly uninstall it to clear up the errors you've created.

That said, manually deleting the entry will probably be fine

You might consider re-installing it and then immediately using its uninstall
function. That should properly remove the registry entries, and this is
normally the recommended procedure.
