Registry Problems

Everytime I logon I get the following message...
"One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered
by use of log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful."
Why is going on?!?! Help, PLEASE.

Scan your PC for viruses and/or malware and: Start>Run and type in without the quotes: "chkdsk /f /r" and accept for scanning next reboot.
