registry error

when doing a search thru the registry I get the following error (three
times)

Failed to open
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2000478354-1580818891-1060284298-1003\Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\?
while searching the Registry on Local Computer, Windows reported error
code 2.

I did a search because I have a folder in my start menu which shows
empty but I can't get a right click menu to delete it.

Any ideas how to clear this out?

thanks

I ran into this long time ago and can't remember what fixed it.

When I change the display resolution on my laptop, the window size
changes and the character sizes remain the same. (black space around
the edges).

This began after I installed the original display driver over a nVidia
standard driver. It now won't go away with either driver.

There must be a registry tweak that will fix this.

thanks
