Many users poopoo/despise the use of so-called registry
cleaners. Just for the helluvit, I downloaded "RegSeeker" and
ran it to see what was up with it. Using the 'Clean the
registry" tab, I was very surprised to find
over 700 questionable entries, most of which were "File or Path
does not exist" and " Invalid ActiveX/Com entry (CLSID)". I just
bought this computer so expected SOME residual trash, but this
is ridiculous.
Has anyone else come across so many superfluous Registry
entries?
Should I delete any or all of these entries?
Does the Registry "self-clean" in time?
Does WindowsXP run appreciably slower/faster no matter what size
the registry balloons too?
I am not a newbie but am seeking more opinions.
Thanks, in advance.
