Registry entries ?

Where are the registry entries for anything found under the "tools" dropdown
option in IE. I have a machine at work that has an entry that I need to get
rid of and haven't been able to get it deleted.

Try
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
or one of these subkeys under Internet Explorer.

If it's user specific, it might be under:
HKEY_USERS\<user_sid>\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
