Regeneration!!

I have repeatedly run MS AntiSpyware and this spyware,
iSearch.DesktopSearch, keeps showing back up. There are
actually a number of pieces of software that don't seem to
be removed because they just keep regenerating. How can I
deal with these? Or should I even bother? Am I better off
formatting the hard drive and just reinstalling everything?
Or will there be stuff that will return even after I do that?

I also have Unclassified.Spyware.57 and reading through
previous posts it looks like a nightmare to get rid of. If
I am facing this for 8-10 pieces of spyware that just
regenerate, am I fighting a losing battle? HELP!!

Start the computer in safe mode, than start the MS AntiSpyware application,
go to Scan options, select Run a full system scan and let it clean the
system.
Also try other "cleaning" software:

McAfee Stinger http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
Spybot Search&Destroy http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html
HijackThis http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
CWShredder http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3019.html

Did you scan in safe mode and do a full system scan? On the scan page,
choose scan options > full system scan (check the boxes below) click "Run
Scan Now". Also disable System restore before restarting in safe Mode. Right
Click "My Computer" > Properties > System Restore > check "Turn off System
Restore". Restart the system in to safe mode. Reenable System after scanning
and restarting in safe mode.

Restart in safe mode instructions:

Also:
Submit suspected spyware report in the tools menu of Antispyware
