Regedit and Task manager will not stay open

When I try to run regedit and taskmanger the program
opens for a few seconds then closes,don't know why this
is happening any suggestions?

Most likely Spyware or Virus preventing You the access. Make a virus scan and get the Spybot Search and Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download) , update it and scan. This should solve the problem.
