refresh interval for gp

did someone know how I could stop the gp refresh interval? I did not want to
expand the refresh time, I want to stop refreshing finally.

I know that article very well. But this article describes how I change the
refresh interval. Not how I stop the interval.

Why? On of my clients want have this solution :-o

As of my knowledge, you cannot completely disable the refreshing of
Group Policy. Just set it to the max value which is 45 days (64800 minutes).

Why would your customer want that? If there is a good reason and an
explaination, we could come up with another solution to it..

If it is only about the background refresh, you could try the following
Group Policy

CompConf\AdmTempl\System\Group Policy\Turn off Background refresh of
Group Policy
