Proxy settings through GP not updated

Hi,

I am trying to distribute proxy settings using GP on a stand alone
Windows 2000 Terminal Server. Using GPEDIT.MSC I changed the proxy
settings for the Internet Explorer to something useful.

After logging in with a new user the proxy settings are distributed.

Now the problem: after deleting the settings manually in the Internet
Explorer properties and after logging off/on again the settings are
not REapplied.

I´ve read through this newsgroup, but did not find anything useful.
I tried to set the GP setting "Group Policy refresh interval for users"
to 1 minute and it seems that the settings are reapplied only once after
changing this setting.

Any ideas?

Hello Malte,

Implement the Internet Explorer Maintenance policy processing
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Group Policy

Click Enable on the Policy tab, and then click Process, even if
group policy objects have not changed.
