reduce size of pix for e-mail

When sending a picture by e-mail the box that opens up to
ask if you want to send a smaller picture is not there
for me anymore.

If I send a photo with a gif extension, it does, but not
for a jpeg extension.

What is wrong? I need help.

Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
and also there is . between ...W and D...
Then, press the Enter key.
This will take a second to run and you will get a message. This should solve
the problem.

In the last week or so I have encountered this problem
too. The option to rotate images has also disappeared
from the menu that offers "send to".
