Im using IE6 SP1 and on some sites I can not receive the
pictures being offered from the site. Is this a problem
with the site or with my settings?
Pls adv.

First, make sure if the "Show Pictures" option is turned on in Advanced tab
of Internet Options.
If it is already on, refer this MSKB article:

Pictures Are Not Displayed on Web Sites in Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=283807

This problem is also seen in computers where Norton Internet Security
Ad-blocks is turned on.

I had to tweak my wireless router settings to enable the
graphics to show and get rid of the red X's.

It thought there was a SYN attack.
