My recycle bin continues to have the empty recycle bin option even after it
has been emptied, and on clicking this, it asks for confirmation of deletion
for 15 files, i click ok, but the option still remains and can be clicked on
again,for the same message about deleting 15 files to come up again. On
opening the recycle bin, it is empty and no files appear in the window, and
clicking on restore all files has no effect. On top of this, any other files
on my computer i delete now, do not end up in there, and it still asks to
confirm deletion of 15 files.
I have preformed full system virus scans, spyware scans, and a full hard
disk scan disk check at boot for the C; drive. I have also tried the disk
clean up option, all with no luck.
