I have the original XP professional disc.
I have upgraded to SP1 then SP2 online by downloading.

My question is 'if I need to recover XP SP2 how do I obtain/make a disc?'
I assume that the original disc will not do the job as it is out of date.

Slipstream SP2 with your oringinal XP Pro installation disc to create a
slipstreamed XP SP2 installation disk. Here is one way:
