im trying to set up a raid 5 in win xp pro and to do that i need to enable it as an option via editing windows files. this requires the use of the recovery console and copy/pasting files from a flopy disk and over writing the ones in the windows DIR. however, my recovery console wont let me edit any system files and i cant figure out why. but i didnt notice, that when i start the reovery console, it doesnt ask which install i would like to log on to and doesnt ask for a admin password(there is one set).
any help would be great!
