Recovery Console>Administrator Password

so a few days ago I started having a Windows XP crash and need to fix it
using recovery console. It worked fine yesterday and recovery console
accepted the "blank" administrator password I have and I was able to copy
startup files around. A new problem poped up relating to the Isass.exe error
and so I need to use the recovery console again today, yet this time,
entering the same "blank" password, it says that my password is incorrect and
I'm not allowed to use it at all. I'm pretty sure no one sneaked into my room
yesterday night to change this password so can someone tell me why and how to
solve this? Thanks

Chris

Thx for your reply, what I'm saying is it worked the first time I tried it,
yet entering the same password as the day before it says that my password is
incorrect. I suppose ur press enter key for password means entering a blank
one which I did and worked the first time yet didn't the next day.
