recorded TV sound problem

hi, i have noticed on a few occations recorded tv does not record the correct
sound, only some guy talking about the action. any ideas. Vista RC1 32bit ed.

Hi Neil,

I have exactly the same problem. I have tried a number of sound driver
updates as I thought it might be related to my Realtek onboard sound Codec
ALS880. But no real improvement. Re-scanning seems to sort the problem out
short term, but after a re-boot the problem resurfaces.

I have a Hauppauge Nova-T Card

Have you resolved ?
