Nero plug-in for Media Center causing problems

B

Bobby

I recently installed the latest version of Nero on my Vista Ultimate PC.

The software works fine and I noticed a new plug-in in Media Center when I
tried to burn a TV recording to DVD - a Nero plug-in. I tried to use this
plug-in and it recorded the TV program onto DVD OK - but without any sound
(the original recording is fine).

Is there a way to fix this? Is it a known problem or something weird with my
PC?

Or can I get rid of this plug-in and just use the standard DVD burning
software that is built into Media Center?

And, finally, why does it take so long to burn a TV recording to disk?

Cheers.

Bobby

Hi,

Yes, go to Nero and download the latest version. I just did that for my
test machine.

If you accidentally installed 7.0XX version and cannot remove it (as I did),
go to the support page and there is a cleaner utility.

Hope this helps.

Its Windows Vista not Visa.

There is a latest update from Nero, release 7.8.5 which is compatible with
Vista but I am not sure if you are entitled to free update and from which
version on.
