recipes to produce products for production database

I have a products table that list the product id #,desc., and some quality
control limits. I would like the production operator to select the product
id (may be in the main part of the form) and then have it populate the recipe
ex. 3578 for sugar, 4990 is flour, 9036 is red dye, 57943 is orange - and so
on. Each product call for different raw materials. ( it would show up in
the many part???) Then the operator would input next to each raw material
the lot # and the quantity they used. Not sure how to lay out the tables in
order for the recipe( which raw materials to be used for each product) to be
populated after they select the product id.
