Recently my computer will just get a black screen after the first initial loading screen. Only option I had was to restart in safe mode and see what happens.

In safe mode, the process stops at the line

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\MountMgr.sys

I have no idea what this means. Can anyone help me out?

Could be a loose cable connection to your hard disc or the operating system could be corrupted.
Try checking the cable connections to your hard disc.

Looks like the disc isn't being read.

Nope nothing. I can start in safe mode but it will stop at the line I posted above and does nothing. My HD seems fine and so does my RAM, I don't know what else to check.

Wether your disc is ok or not is moot.........if the os can't be mounted it's pretty useless.
If you don't have anything terribly important on there I suggest a reformat/reinstall of the os.
