Reassigning USB drive letters

I just bought an ipod nano and when I plugged it in, it somehow changed the
drive letter of my external hard drive. My computer used to layout like this:
E: unassigned for plug and play
F: network drive
G: network drive
H: external hard drive

Now there is a conflict with the F drive. My external hard drive is now
called F as well. How can I rename or assign a new drive letter to the
external hard drive without loosing any data?

Use the Disk management tool to reassign drive letter for external drives.
