Hey Everyone...

I'm trying to delete all of my partitions and rebuild my entire system
from scratch using PartitionMagic Pro 7.0. Simple, right? However, I'm
getting the oh-so-common "Geometry Error" -- Error #108: Partition
didn't end on cylinder boundary -- in PartitionMagic. (In my case:
ucEndHead expected to be 254, not 44.) So, needless to say, I can't
even open PartitionMagic and get into my partitions to delete them.

- I've got my harddrive mode switched to "LBA enabled" in the BIOS.
- I've tried starting PartitionMagic in DOS.
- I've tried booting the system to DOS and looking at the computer
screen with a blank stare.

None of these ideas are working for me!

Like I said, I don't care about losing any of my data. None of it
matters to me. All I want to do is DELETE EVERYTHING (including my
partitions) and start from scratch using all of my original
installation media.

Can someone please help me... =)
Start Partition Magic in DOS with the IPE switch (ignore partition error)
PQMagic /ipe Good luck

Well, thanks, guys! I went ahead and used ClearHDD to wipe my hard
drive and that took care of my problem. My "Geometry Error" is now
gone and I have rebuilt my system from scratch. Anyway, I just wanted
to say thanks again for all your help!

Thanks for the feedback, much too rare in my opinion.

Might well come in handy for someone using groups.google etc to
run that problem to ground and not needing to ask in here himself.
