re-installing IE

After fixing some problems with IE, I need to re-install the program but I am getting error messages of IE HAS DETECTED A NEWER VERSION OF IE ALREADY INSTALLED.. SETUP CANNOT CONTINUE...

How do I get around this problem and re-install IE.

I am assuming you are using Windows XP. You may need to do a registry tweak
before reinstalling IE.

Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP
