RE: Error 0xC0000022

I had this problem with the first update to beta 1, and with the new one
that I downloaded Friday Night, 06-24 (was 613 though). I downloaded 614
(on Saturday, 06-25). I have attempted a number of variations and there is
no difference.

Here's what I know:

I can install MS AntiSpyware in my admin account with no problem. When I
run in my least-privilege user account, I receive "The application failed to
initialize properly (0xc0000022). Click on OK to terminate the
application."

This is almost instantaneous in the log-on sequence, before anything else
happens - firewall, Norton Antivirus, etc., are not initialized yet.

I figure this is some sort of privilege problem because if I do a "Run As
...." on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon in the least-privilege desktop, it
does run and the icon also shows up in the system tray. Scheduled scans work
and so on. (Application start-up is really slow this way too, especially for
browsing and such.)

My latest effort to see if I could establish the correct privileges were

0. Running Windows XP SP2 on an Averatec C3500 Tablet PC -
1. Logout of my ordinary, least-privilege account.
2. Log into the admin account.
3. Shut off the network using my software firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro).
4. Uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware
5. Delete the c:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware folder
6. Give my least-privilege account administrator privilege.
7. Log out of admin and into least-privilege (temporarily elevated).
8. Run the setup program for Microsoft AntiSpyware
9. Don't run the application when install finishes.
10. Log out of least-privilege.
11. Log into admin. - Microsoft AntiSpyware is present and running,
according to the system tray icon.
12. Restore least-privilege user account to least-privilege operation
13. Restart the system.
14. Log into least-privilege user and there's the message, same as always.
