RDC problem when connecting over VPN

I have two computers on a LAN at work that I need to access with RDC over a
VPN. One of them works fine, but the other one always seems to time out
saying that the network is busy and to contact the system administrator.

The computer that fails with the RDC over VPN will happily be connected to
from another PC on the LAN, just not through the VPN.

The LAN is protected by a SonicWall Pro which also sets up the VPN but as I
can use one computer with RDC I am sure that the firewall isn't the problem.

Also, If I log on to the working computer with an RDC over VPN and then fire
up RDC on that computer I can then log on to the computer that fails when
trying to connect directly from the remote PC.

Can anybody suggest a solution this problem as it has me stumped?

Many thanks in advance.

Can you telnet port 3389 from the second computer?

Thanks. I get no response when I try and telnet the problem computer on
3389. The problem computer is running Windows 2000 Server. The machine I can
connect to is Windows 2003 server.
