I an getting random crases on my laptop running XP Home. Info form the event viewer shows "Catagory (102) Event ID 1003 Description: Error code 000000d1, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f7499fc9.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
if I go to the help center it says.
A blue screen (Stop error) was reported. The message contains details about the error. A matching event with Event ID 1001 might also appear in the event log. This matching event displays information about the specific error that occurred.
I checked ID 1001 and got the following description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x00000008, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xf7499fc9). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini062504-02.dmp.

Thanks for any help
