Random Audio Files Play

I may be just working with a text file and not listening to anything related
to audio. Then an audio file such as a mule sound or a crowd noise will play.
I contacted Norton and they offered to fix the problem for $99.00. It
almost seemed as though they knew what the problem was and were eager to get
the $99.00. I done virus scans and use Spybot, but nothing is detected.
Does anyone have a suggestion of how I can find these files or viruses and
remove them. Thank you

I think it's prompt sound when somebody online. like ICQ or MSN.You can try
to close them one by one to test them.
