Radeon 9200 locks up and crashes in a game.

Just recently reloaded my computer. (Formated and started fresh) Prior
to the reload, my computer worked nearly flawlessly. I have been
playing Guild Wars with no problems at all.

After the reload, all I have installed is Windows XP Home edition,
sound and video drivers, Guild Wars, Nero 6 and Firefox.

When I play Guild Wars, about a minute into the game, the game locks up
(but not the mouse) the screen gets all scrambled (random pixels fill
the screen.) and then ultimately the system reboots.

Everything worked fine prior to the restore. Now it doesn't.

For the record, I reloaded my system because my DVD burner quit buring
DVD's after Service Pack 2. It works now, but now my game doesn't.
HELP.

Install / update your motherboard chipset drivers, if you haven't done so
already.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have downloaded the drivers for the
motherboard. The chipset ones, but didn't think to see if there was an
AGP drivers for that motherboard. Will have to look into it. Thanks
again.

Resolved the problem. I ended up downloading the Omega drivers which
didn't directly fix the problem. However, it allowed me to set the AGP
port to 4X instead of 8X. This took care of the issue.
