hello
I'm newbie. I have a txt file with english words. There is like 5000
words. Not sentences. Just words. One word in line, next line -
another word etc.
Using MS Word I would like to divide a page and make a table (two or
three columns). I want to insert all that words (Select All -> Copy)
and paste it into a table. But I want to have it in all columns not
just one. For example: I want aa*** words at page 1 column 1, ac*** at
page 1 column 2, ae*** words at page 1 column 3 and ai**** words at
page 2 column 1 etc. I want to do it fast. Anyone can help me?
Thank you
L.

Insert the word list, apply whatever formatting you wish while in
single column, then click Format --> Columns.

To clarify what Stan said, you don't want a table; you want newspaper-style
(snaking) columns. For more, see
