Question about Animated Slides

Darrell

I have created an animated slide in which a picture object initially appears
in the center of the slide and then reduces in size as it moves to the upper
right corner. I then have text that appears in the center of the slide where
the original object had been.

My problem is that when I print the slide all graphical and text objects
appear where they began - not where they ultimately moved to - so the center
of the slide is a big muddled jumble.

Is there a way on animated slides - particularly those that use motion - to
have the slide appear in its final state for printing purposes?

Try placing the picture object in it's final resting place. Then draw the
Motion Path to where you want it to start. Right click on the Motion Path.
Select Reverse Path Direction.

That should help clean things up.

Actually, no - printing doesn't recognize animations. You'll need a
different set of slides for printing.

Hi,

as an alternative to manual editing and capturing screenshots of the running
slide show, you can try this add-in:

What it does is to split animation steps into different slides, so that you
can retain the impact animations when printing.
Examples are also provided at the above page.

Regards.
