Animated text boxes - Newbie question

Tara

I'm in the middle of creating my first slideshow using PowerPoint 2002. I
have several textboxes on one slide. I have the textboxes animated, but I'd
like one text box to fade out before the next one appears. How can I
accomplish this?

Thanks!

If they are individual lines of text, rather than separate text boxes, you
can edit the animation for the text box. If they are, indeed, separate text
boxes, you will have to add an exit (if you want them to fade completely
away) or emphasis (if you want them to fade but not go away completely)
animation to each text box. You can then put the animation in the right
order.
