Q. Win2K doesn't use even half of my memory (RAM)

Hi.

I'd like to know why Windows2K, even running several apps, AND being
on the internet at the same time doesn't use even half of my 400 Meg
of ram, which I just recently increased.

The most of my ram I've ever seen it use at any one time is about 126
or so.

Please advise,

Thanks,
Jim

You don't have a problem.

Jim - you're at the mercy of the mathematics of task dispatching and
resource allocation algorithms, which are pretty efficient. You're just
not stressing the system at all; the system is using all the RAM it
needs, second by second. As Mad Dog said, you don't have a problem.
