publishing problem

I have updated the older website file (index.htm) with
some simple wording changes that I would like to publish
as the new webpage. When I preview it, it
incorporates the changes. When I publish it to the web,
it looks like it is publishing correctly but when I view
the new page, it is has the old wording. I have refreshed
my browser several times and have frontpage extensions
installed. Please help.

Check your live site and see if the
page is named index.html and then
check your local web and see if it is named
index.htm

If so rename your local page to index.html
and then republish.
