Publishing from Vista Windows Calender

On
'http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/calendar.mspx
' it says 'Windows Calendar is fully compatible with the popular iCalendar
format, so you can import and export calendar information to and from other
applications and websites. ' , and on
'http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/calendarpublish.mspx
' it says 'Location to publish calendar. Your calendar will be stored on a
server at your internet service provider so that others may download it. You
will need to know the URL for your calendar's location on your internet
service provider's server so you can share the location with others. The
server location provided by your internet service provider may require a user
name and password when publishing your calendar. If so, Windows Calendar will
ask for this information automatically after you click the Publish button.'

I've been trying to publish to iCal Exchange.com , and Calendar never asks
for any username or password ,but comes up saying 'There was an error
publishing your calendar Calendar 'blahblah' was not published. An error
occurred during the publishing process:the network path was not found.Click
the back arrow(none present) to change the publishing information
provided.Click Cancel to cancel the publishing process(only button
available).

The path was cut and pasted as supplied by ical Exchange!!!

Anyone have any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong?

I've tried to 'export' as well but I seems you can only export to a local
folder.

I'm sorry. I thought everyone could see the original question. Below
is the original question by bigW. Basically, I'm experiencing a
problem publishing my Windows Calendar to iCal Exchange.com. I even
tried to publish it to box.net. The same thing happens, it doesn't ask
for a username and password. Read bigW's original post and let me
know if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem.

thanks!
Jack

It depends on the webserver you are using.
You may need to export and use an FTP program to transfer it.

Does anyone have experience publish Windows Calendar with the specific
site: iCal Exchange.com?

I am having the same problem and so is my brother.

It would be such a useful thing if I could get it working.

Anyone found the solution???

As the others, I cannot 'publish' my Calendar. Moreover, Calendar does not
ask for any user/password (as the others state).
Using an FTP program is not the solution; I would have to use FTP on all my
PC's many times a day . It is also not up to standard as described.

So, has anyone a solution to this thread?

Well, has anyone contact iCal Exchange to see what they say on the matter? I
just emailed them at (e-mail address removed), I'll post back here soon with
their reply.
