Public folder favorites frequently disappear

We have several users that access the same public folder (Outlook/Exchange
2003) for customer service email messages. The folder is added to their
public folder favorites and their favorite folders list so that they can
easily see when new messages arrive.

Out of necessity, customer service users must log in using the same
credientials. We are finding that the public folder favorites often
disappear throughout the day, apparently at random. Some days, they do not
disappear at all. At other times, users must recreate their favorite folders
several times a day. This does not seem to affect other users, but when it
occurs, it affects everyone logged in to the customer service account.

Any thoughts?

Nothing so far. Our users have just become quite used to recreating their
favorites all the time. It pretty much sucks. Some days it only happens
once or twice or not at all. Other days, they must do it multiple times per
hour. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

do all favorites disappear or just pf favorites? if only pf favorites, are
they using cache mode? Are they losing connectivity to the server?

I've only heard of PF favorites disappearing. Cached mode. No LAN
issues that I know of.
