.pst file gone

I was working in Outlook 2000 when I got a message that there was an error
with my outlook.pst file and I needed to run Inbox Repair Tool. Now I can't
find my outlook.pst file (or any .pst files) when I search for it! It isn't
in my deleted files. It seems to have vanished. Does this mean all my
messages are gone? What about my outlook calendar data?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a hidden file. You need to enable Hidden Files in Explorer to see it.

Check Control Panel | Mail to find the location of your PST file(s).

Open Windows Explorer. In the Address bar, enter

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go. You'll likely see the PST there.
