Proxy Settings

W

Wayne

Does anyone have a best method of configuring the auto-
detection proxy settings in Internet Explorer so that it
will use the proxy on my work network but ignore the
proxy when at home? I am looking for a method other than
going in an unchecking the Proxy box in Tools--Internet
Options.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,
Wayne

I am looking for a method other than going in an unchecking
the Proxy box in Tools--Internet Options.

How about Internet Properties then? ;)
I have the following command in my Run... MRU list

rundll32 inetcpl.cpl,LaunchConnectionDialog

so all I need to do to toggle Proxy on or off is press:
Win-R,F4,Cursor...,Enter,S,x,Enter

For more elaborate requirements look for shareware.
At one time the only product I knew of for this was NetSwitcher
but now apparently there is at least one competitor.
