proxy server setting

when i am at home, i can access my company network using a VPN software.
However, after running the VPN connected to the network of my company, i
have to set the proxy server of IE6 in order to go web pages in the
Internet. After discounting the VPN, i have to reset the proxy server
setting of ie6 again. This is very troublesome, is there any way for me to
do in auto ? can i set up two ie 6, one go thru proxy, one not ? or any
other way to prevent setting the proxy server manually everytime ?
